Kind words from leaders, editors, and ministry partners.
"Dave showed up and immediately started to connect with our team and our guests who came to the event. The entire day was full of laughter, great conversations, and lots of good note taking."

We spent a couple months thinking how we can engage our 60+ group in our church. These are the people who give, serve, and have spent their adult lives giving to the church, and now they find themselves in a new chapter of life with more time and wisdom, but sometimes finding it difficult to continue serving the church and others in this new chapter.

We found Not Too Old an amazing book that helped us with this very issue! We invited Dave to come to our church and host an event with us. Dave showed up and immediately started to connect with our team and our guests who came to the event. The entire day was full of laughter, great conversations, and lots of good note taking. Our Q and A during our lunch time was the highlight.  We had so many questions from our guests, and Dave answered them thoughtfully with Scripture and with kindness. He took time to talk with anyone who wanted to talk more about a certain issue or question.

Everyone walked out of the event grateful that they were a part of it. If you are considering asking Dave to come and be a part of your event, you should 100% do it!

"This conference was practical, motivating, equipping, and just plain fun.  Each of the sessions was laced with humor and lots of head nodding.  One person said, 'This was the best Saturday morning I've had all year!’."

Dave Faust's book Not Too Old was the theme of the conference we held at LifeSpring Christian Church in April  2026 with Dave serving as our main speaker.  (He also led three workshops in addition to speaking for two main sessions.)

The response from our attenders was that this conference was practical, motivating, equipping, and just plain fun.  Each of the sessions was laced with humor and lots of head nodding.  One person said, 'This was the best Saturday morning I've had all year!’

"This excellent preacher and writer will leverage your birthday candles for kingdom advances."

Barzillai was a dear 80-year-old friend of King David (2 Samuel 19:31-40).  He helped David be restored to his kingship following the rebellion of Absalom. David wanted to take him back to Jerusalem and care for him. But Barzillai didn't want to be a burden (vs. 35). Instead, he wanted to be a blessing.

As we age, we should want to do the same thing. One way to learn how to be a blessing (not a burden) as we age is to attend a 'Not Too Old' conference led by another David—i.e. David Faust.  This excellent preacher and writer will leverage your birthday candles for kingdom advances.

"Dave's in-person presentations, like his book, *Not Too Old*, are compelling—encouraging, practical, and grounded in Scripture."

It’s my sincere pleasure to recommend David Faust, his book, NOT TOO OLD, and his featured involvement in any seniors conference to anyone and any group seeking an exceptional presentation on the topic of aging in a life, in the church, and against a prevailing culture.

Whether in the pages of his book, from the stage as a presenter or at a table in discussion, Dave brings a rare blend of warmth, wisdom, humor, and deep biblical insight that resonates powerfully with older adults. Dave doesn’t just speak and write to seniors—he genuinely understands and inspires them, reminding every reader and listener that their most meaningful years of impact may still be ahead.

His in-person presentations, like his book, Not Too Old, are compelling—encouraging, practical, and grounded in Scripture. They challenge outdated assumptions about aging and replace them with a hopeful, God-centered vision for continued purpose and joy.

Together, Dave’s message and his writing create an uplifting, energizing experience that leaves audiences encouraged, valued, and ready to embrace the next chapter of life with confidence and faith.
